About Kristi Lee

Creator, Narrator, Executive Producer

Kristi Lee created Canadian True Crime as a personal creative passion project at the end of 2016—never expecting the podcast would gain an audience.

Born in New Zealand, Kristi spent her formative years in Australia, before moving to Canada in 2009 with her (Australian) husband. She became a Canadian citizen in 2015, and currently lives with her family in the Greater Toronto Area.

Kristi has a business marketing degree and a 20-year career in marketing and corporate communications spanning Australia and Canada. She started working full-time on Canadian True Crime in early 2020 and remains the primary researcher, writer, producer and narrator.
